Aimovig (erenumab) is a once-monthly self-injected antibody that blocks the CGRP receptor to prevent migraine, and it is a refrigerated biological that an importer buys as the originator in 70 mg or 140 mg pens or syringes.
M Care Exports supplies Aimovig (erenumab), the originator CGRP-receptor antibody for migraine prevention, to hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks in the GCC, Africa and the UK. If you are looking for Aimovig 70 mg or 140 mg, send the destination, the device and the quantity, and we quote per destination.
Erenumab exporter and bulk supplier from India.
"We need a partner for Aimovig" is the usual form of this enquiry, from a neurology formulary or a licensed importer. M Care is a merchant-exporter: we source the originator against your specification and quote it per destination. Erenumab is a refrigerated biological, so the offer depends on strength (70 mg or 140 mg), device (pen, autoinjector or syringe), quantity, the destination's registration route and the cold-chain lane. Each device holds a single 1 mL dose and most packs hold one device (the EU SmPC also lists a multipack of three pens), so quantities are counted in devices. The US label and the EU SmPC both allow a limited period at room temperature, which matters for last-mile planning but does not replace a 2 to 8 °C lane.

CGRP receptor monoclonal antibody (migraine preventive), sourced and documented for export.
Erenumab is a fully human IgG2 monoclonal antibody that binds the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor, per the EU SmPC. The FDA label lists Aimovig for the preventive treatment of migraine in adults. The EU SmPC lists prophylaxis of migraine in adults who have at least 4 migraine days per month. The recommended dose in both is 70 mg once monthly (every 4 weeks in the SmPC), and some patients may benefit from 140 mg. In the EU, a 140 mg dose may be given as one 140 mg injection or as two 70 mg injections. The FDA label shows single-dose prefilled SureClick autoinjectors and single-dose prefilled glass syringes, each 70 mg/mL or 140 mg/mL, with each dose 1 mL. The EU SmPC lists pre-filled pens and pre-filled syringes in 70 mg and 140 mg, each of 1 mL. Neither label establishes safety or efficacy in children.

Hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks across our export markets.
India is our origin. We do not sell into the Indian market.
Buyers are hospital pharmacists and neurology formulary leads, MoH and hospital tender desks, and licensed importers and distributors in the GCC, Africa and the UK. Typical enquiries read "I'm looking for Aimovig 140 mg" or "We need a partner for erenumab pens for a neurology clinic". Each destination has its own registration route, for example the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) in the UAE, NAFDAC in Nigeria and the MHRA in the UK, and we align the offer with that route before quoting. A 70 mg pen and a 140 mg pen are separate lines with separate quantities.
GCC registration routes
Supply against MoH registration held by your local licensed importer, or via the GCC central registration pathway.
UK unlicensed routes
Where no UK licence exists, the MHRA Specials and named-patient import routes cover clinically justified demand.
Tender desks
Bid-pack documentation assembled to the tender's specification, from CoPP to batch records.
Dossier support
CTD documentation from the sourcing manufacturer, compiled for your regulator's format.
What the dispensing pharmacist checks on erenumab.
Four points matter at the pharmacy bench. First, the product is intended for self-administration after training, so the device and its patient instructions matter as much as the injection itself. The EU SmPC says the upper arm should be used only when someone other than the patient gives the injection. Second, hold times: both labels say to leave the device at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before injecting, protected from direct sunlight, and not to warm it with a heat source. Third, safety signals to brief clinics on. The FDA label carries warnings for hypersensitivity reactions, constipation with serious complications, new or worsening hypertension and Raynaud's phenomenon. The EU SmPC warns of serious hypersensitivity and of constipation, including cases needing hospitalisation or surgery. Fourth, the SmPC advises considering discontinuation in patients with no response after 3 months. Do not shake the device and do not freeze it.
The documentation pack a regulator actually asks for.
Erenumab is a cold-chain product. Both the FDA label and the EU SmPC set storage at 2 to 8 °C in the original carton, protected from light, with no freezing. Once out of the refrigerator, both allow up to 7 days at room temperature (up to 25 °C), within which the product must be used or else discarded; the SmPC adds that a higher temperature or a longer period means discard. The EU SmPC gives a shelf life of 3 years. For a bulk order that means a validated 2 to 8 °C lane, in-transit logging and a remaining-shelf-life check on arrival. The FDA label names Amgen Inc. as manufacturer, and Drugs@FDA lists BLA 761077 under Amgen Inc, originally approved 17 May 2018. The EU marketing authorisation holder is Novartis Europharm Limited, first authorised 26 July 2018. M Care documentation covers batch certificates of analysis and destination-aligned dossier support where the regulator requires it. We state each manufacturer's quality documentation per line before quoting.

Erenumab supply, the specific questions.
What decides the landed price of Aimovig for an importer?
We do not publish prices. The landed cost of erenumab depends on the strength (70 mg or 140 mg), the device (pen, autoinjector or syringe), the quantity, the registration route in your destination, the cold-chain lane and the Incoterms. Refrigerated freight is a real cost line for a 2 to 8 °C biological with a 7-day room-temperature allowance. Because each device holds one 1 mL dose, the number of devices drives freight volume. M Care Exports quotes per destination once you send the strength, device, volume and country.
What is the difference between Aimovig 70 mg and 140 mg, and how is it dosed?
Both are 1 mL single-dose devices. The FDA label recommends 70 mg subcutaneously once monthly, and says some patients may benefit from 140 mg once monthly. The EU SmPC gives 70 mg every 4 weeks, with 140 mg for some patients, and allows a 140 mg dose as one 140 mg injection or two 70 mg injections. Treatment is for adults. The SmPC says to consider stopping if there is no response after 3 months. They are separate purchasing lines, so tell us which strength each clinic uses.
Is Aimovig an autoinjector, a pen or a syringe?
Both a device and a syringe exist, and the device name differs by market. The FDA label lists single-dose prefilled SureClick autoinjectors and single-dose prefilled glass syringes, in 70 mg and 140 mg, each supplied as a pack of one. The EU SmPC lists pre-filled pens and pre-filled syringes in both strengths, in packs of one, plus a multipack of three pens, and notes that not all pack sizes may be marketed. Tell us which device your registration or formulary names, and we quote that presentation.
How does Aimovig compare with Emgality and Ajovy?
On label facts only. The EMA page for Aimovig describes erenumab as attaching to the receptor for CGRP. The EMA pages for Emgality (galcanezumab, Eli Lilly Nederland B.V.) and Ajovy (fremanezumab, Teva GmbH) describe antibodies designed to attach to CGRP, so the stated target differs. Aimovig is given once monthly in 70 mg, with 140 mg for some patients. The EMA page for Ajovy gives 225 mg monthly or 675 mg every three months. The Emgality page gives a starting dose of two injections, then one a month. We do not recommend one product over another; the choice is clinical and formulary-led.
Is there a generic or biosimilar of Aimovig?
In the US, Drugs@FDA lists Aimovig under BLA 761077 held by Amgen Inc. The EMA page for Aimovig names Novartis Europharm Limited as holder and mentions no biosimilar. We found no erenumab biosimilar in the FDA and EMA sources we checked. We have not confirmed an Indian registration from a CDSCO approval list, so we make no claim for India. Other CGRP antibodies are different molecules, not generics of erenumab, and the choice between them is clinical.
What side effects should a clinic expect with Aimovig?
Constipation is the one to plan for. The EU SmPC calls it a common adverse reaction, usually mild or moderate, with onset often after the first dose and resolution within three months in most cases. Serious complications, including hospitalisation and surgery, have been reported in the post-marketing setting. The EU SmPC warns of serious hypersensitivity, which can occur within minutes or more than a week after treatment, and the FDA label also lists hypersensitivity reactions. The FDA label also warns of new or worsening hypertension and Raynaud's phenomenon. The FDA label contraindicates serious hypersensitivity to erenumab or any excipient, and the EU SmPC contraindicates hypersensitivity to erenumab or any excipient.
