Bulk supply and export terms

Abrocitinib exporter and bulk supplier from India.

"I'm looking for Cibinqo 200 mg" is a typical enquiry, and the strength needs a second look before it is ordered. The US label starts at 100 mg once daily and considers 200 mg for patients who do not respond. The UK SmPC allows a 100 mg or 200 mg start, with 100 mg recommended for adolescents aged 12 to 17 and for patients at higher risk of venous thromboembolism, major cardiovascular events or malignancy, and 100 mg for patients aged 65 and over, who should receive it only if no suitable alternative exists. A dermatology unit may therefore need 100 mg and 200 mg lines together, and 50 mg for the renal and CYP2C19 dose adjustments both labels describe. The quote turns on the strength mix, the pack format, the quantity, the destination's registration route and Incoterms. Cibinqo is a tablet with no refrigeration requirement on the US or UK labels, which keeps freight simpler than for the biologics in this category. M Care Exports is a merchant-exporter and quotes per destination.

Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor, sourced and documented for export.

Cibinqo is a Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor taken orally. The US label (Pfizer, DailyMed, revised September 2026) lists 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg pink film-coated tablets. The UK emc publishes separate SmPCs for the 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg film-coated tablets, held by Pfizer Limited. The EMA page records authorisation for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults and adolescents 12 years and older who are candidates for systemic therapy, with Pfizer Europe MA EEIG as the holder and authorisation dated 9 December 2021. The US indication is narrower in wording: refractory, moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults and paediatric patients 12 years and older whose disease is not adequately controlled with other systemic drugs, including biologics, or when those are inadvisable. The US label carries a boxed warning on serious infections, mortality, malignancy, major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and thrombosis. It is not recommended with other JAK inhibitors, biologic immunomodulators or other immunosuppressants.

Who we supply

Hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks across our export markets.

India is our origin. We do not sell into the Indian market.

Buyers are hospital pharmacists in dermatology and immunology units, MoH and hospital tender desks, and licensed importers and distributors in the GCC, Africa and the UK. Typical enquiries read "I'm looking for Cibinqo 100 mg tablets for a dermatology clinic" or "We need a partner for abrocitinib for a hospital tender". Each destination has its own registration or import route, for example the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) in the UAE, NAFDAC in Nigeria and the MHRA in the UK. Whether Cibinqo is registered in a given country, or has to come in as an unlicensed or named-patient import, depends on that regulator, and M Care Exports confirms the route per enquiry before quoting.

Pharmacist's note

What the dispensing pharmacist checks on abrocitinib.

Read the label for the market you are supplying, because the texts differ. The US label starts at 100 mg once daily, considers 200 mg for non-responders, and asks for the lowest efficacious dose to maintain response. It sets pre-treatment blood thresholds (platelets below 150,000/mm3, lymphocytes below 500/mm3, neutrophils below 1,000/mm3 or haemoglobin below 8 g/dL means initiation is not recommended) and asks for a blood count at baseline, at 4 weeks and 4 weeks after any dose increase. It does not recommend the drug in severe renal impairment, and it contraindicates antiplatelet therapy other than low-dose aspirin (81 mg daily or less) for the first 3 months. The UK SmPC instead lets severe renal impairment start at 50 mg once daily with a 100 mg ceiling, and contraindicates active serious systemic infection including tuberculosis, severe hepatic impairment, pregnancy and breast-feeding. Strong CYP2C19 inhibitors such as fluvoxamine or fluconazole cut the dose: to 50 mg once daily on the US label, and by half, to 100 mg or 50 mg, on the UK SmPC. Storage is 20 to 25 °C on the US label, and the UK SmPC states no special storage restrictions and a 4-year shelf life.

Regulatory & quality

The documentation pack a regulator actually asks for.

Cibinqo needs no cold chain on the labels we cite: the US label gives 20 to 25 °C in the original package, with excursions permitted between 15 and 30 °C, and the UK SmPCs state no special storage restrictions. The UK SmPCs for the 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg tablets give a 4-year shelf life and list HDPE bottles of 14 or 30 tablets and PVDC blisters in packs of 14, 28 or 91, noting that not all sizes may be marketed. The US label lists 30-count bottles for each strength. The EMA page shows the safety restrictions that apply in the EU, including use in patients aged 65 or older only if no suitable alternative exists, and restricted use in patients with cardiovascular risk factors or at increased cancer risk. M Care documentation covers batch certificates of analysis, export documents and destination-aligned dossier support where the regulator asks for it. We state the source and status of each line before quoting, and we make no WHO-GMP or WHO prequalification claim for ourselves.

Frequently asked

Abrocitinib supply, the specific questions.

What is Cibinqo 200 mg, and when is it used?

Cibinqo 200 mg is the highest of the three tablet strengths, taken once daily. The US label starts patients at 100 mg and recommends 200 mg once daily for patients not responding to 100 mg. The UK SmPC allows a 100 mg or 200 mg start, with 200 mg suited to patients who are not at higher risk and have a high disease burden or an inadequate response to 100 mg, and says the dose should be reduced to 100 mg once disease is controlled. M Care Exports supplies all three strengths and quotes per destination.

What is the Cibinqo dosing for atopic dermatitis?

The US label recommends 100 mg orally once daily, with or without food and swallowed whole, and considers 200 mg once daily for non-responders. It advises the lowest efficacious dose. For moderate renal impairment and CYP2C19 poor metabolisers it gives 50 mg once daily, rising to 100 mg if response is inadequate. The UK SmPC gives a 100 mg or 200 mg starting dose, recommends 100 mg for ages 12 to 17, and halves the dose with strong CYP2C19 inhibitors. Dosing is the prescriber's decision under the destination's label.

Cibinqo price: what sets the cost for an importer?

We do not publish a price. The landed cost of Cibinqo for an importer depends on the strength mix, pack format, quantity, the destination's registration route and the Incoterms. Cibinqo needs no refrigeration on the US and UK labels, so cold-chain packing is not a cost driver as it is for biologics. M Care Exports quotes per destination once we have the strength, quantity and country, and states the source and status of the line in the offer.

Cibinqo vs Rinvoq: how do the labels compare?

On label facts only: Cibinqo (abrocitinib) is a JAK1 inhibitor given as 50 mg, 100 mg or 200 mg tablets once daily, and Pfizer's label covers atopic dermatitis. Rinvoq (upadacitinib, AbbVie) is a JAK inhibitor given as once-daily extended-release tablets, and its US atopic dermatitis dosing is 15 mg or 30 mg, within a label that lists further indications. Both US labels cover atopic dermatitis from 12 years of age, and both carry JAK-class warnings. This is not a recommendation for either product. See our upadacitinib page.

Is Cibinqo used for eczema?

Atopic dermatitis, which the EMA notes is also known as eczema, is the labelled use. The EMA and UK texts cover moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults and adolescents 12 years and older who are candidates for systemic therapy, and the US label covers refractory, moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in the same age range. Other types of eczema are not labelled indications for Cibinqo, and we do not suggest using it that way. It is a prescription medicine, supplied to licensed importers and hospitals.

Does Cibinqo have a boxed warning, and is a generic available?

The US label carries a boxed warning on serious infections, mortality, malignancy, major adverse cardiovascular events and thrombosis. The higher rates of mortality, malignancy, MACE and thrombosis come from a trial of another JAK inhibitor in rheumatoid arthritis, a disease Cibinqo is not approved for, and the label notes that malignancy, MACE and thrombosis have also occurred with Cibinqo. In the EU, the EMA page restricts use in patients aged 65 or older, with cardiovascular risk factors or at increased cancer risk. The labels we cite are all for the Pfizer originator. If you are looking for a generic, tell us the destination and M Care Exports confirms what can lawfully be supplied there.
