Rinvoq (upadacitinib) is an oral once-daily JAK inhibitor licensed across rheumatology, dermatology and gastroenterology, supplied in 15 mg, 30 mg and 45 mg tablets without a cold chain, but with a boxed warning and specialist-only prescribing that shape every import file.
M Care Exports supplies Rinvoq (upadacitinib), AbbVie's Janus kinase inhibitor, as 15 mg, 30 mg and 45 mg prolonged-release tablets for licensed importers, hospital pharmacies and tender desks in the GCC, Africa and the UK. If you are saying "I'm looking for Rinvoq for a specialist rheumatology or IBD unit", we quote against your strength, pack and registration route. M Care is a merchant-exporter: we source the originator product through licensed channels and do not manufacture it.
Upadacitinib exporter and bulk supplier from India.
A Rinvoq enquiry is rarely just "upadacitinib". The three strengths map to different indications, so a rheumatology formulary usually needs 15 mg only, a dermatology or IBD service may also need 30 mg, and a Crohn's or ulcerative colitis unit needs 45 mg for the induction course. The US label supplies 15 mg and 30 mg in bottles of 30 tablets and 45 mg in bottles of 28; the UK SmPC lists blister packs of 28 or 98 and bottles of 30 tablets, and notes that not every pack size is marketed. We confirm the pack format your regulator and wholesaler can accept before we quote. If your message is "We need a partner for Rinvoq supply into a hospital group", tell us the strengths, the annual volume, the destination and whether you hold the product licence or need us to support the dossier, and we quote per destination.

Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, selective immunosuppressant, sourced and documented for export.
Upadacitinib is a selective JAK inhibitor taken by mouth once daily as a prolonged-release (EU/UK) or extended-release (US) tablet in 15 mg, 30 mg and 45 mg strengths. The tablet is swallowed whole and must not be split, crushed or chewed. In the US, AbbVie also markets Rinvoq LQ, a 1 mg/mL oral solution dosed twice daily, which the label states is not substitutable with the tablets. US-labelled indications include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, atopic dermatitis (patients 12 years and older), ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis and giant cell arteritis. The UK SmPC covers the adult rheumatology indications, giant cell arteritis, atopic dermatitis (adults and adolescents 12 years and older), ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. The EMA EPAR page for the EU authorisation also lists severe alopecia areata and non-segmental vitiligo in adults and adolescents 12 years and older, and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis from 2 years. Wording and population limits differ between regulators, so the destination label governs what a buyer can supply for.

Hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks across our export markets.
India is our origin. We do not sell into the Indian market.
Our Rinvoq buyers are licensed importers and distributors holding the product registration or acting for the registrant, hospital pharmacies in rheumatology, dermatology and gastroenterology units, MoH and hospital group tender desks running specialist immunology lists, and private specialist clinics in the GCC and Africa. Because the label requires treatment to be started and supervised by an experienced specialist, orders come from tertiary centres and importers who serve them, not from primary-care pharmacies. In the UK, requests come from hospital pharmacy buyers and licensed wholesalers working to MHRA requirements.
GCC registration routes
Supply against MoH registration held by your local licensed importer, or via the GCC central registration pathway.
UK unlicensed routes
Where no UK licence exists, the MHRA Specials and named-patient import routes cover clinically justified demand.
Tender desks
Bid-pack documentation assembled to the tender's specification, from CoPP to batch records.
Dossier support
CTD documentation from the sourcing manufacturer, compiled for your regulator's format.
What the dispensing pharmacist checks on upadacitinib.
Rinvoq is a tablet, so there is no reconstitution, but the pharmacy issues are real. The US label carries a boxed warning for serious infections, mortality, malignancy, major adverse cardiovascular events and thrombosis, and asks for latent TB testing before and during therapy. Dose is indication-led: atopic dermatitis starts at 15 mg and may rise to 30 mg, with 15 mg for patients 65 and over in the US label; ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease use a 45 mg induction course (8 weeks and 12 weeks respectively on the US label) before 15 mg maintenance. Tablets must be swallowed whole, and the label warns patients to avoid grapefruit. It also notes that tablet residue can appear in stool or ostomy output in patients with shortened GI transit. Storage is not cold chain: the US label says 2 to 25 C in the original bottle, protected from moisture, and the UK SmPC requires no special temperature, only the original blister or bottle.
The documentation pack a regulator actually asks for.
Rinvoq is a branded originator product. The US marketing holder is AbbVie Inc. (DailyMed), the EU authorisation holder is AbbVie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG (EMA EPAR, authorised 16 December 2019), and the UK authorisation holder is AbbVie Ltd (emc SmPC). Registration in each GCC and African market is the importer's regulatory route: in the UAE that is the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), in Saudi Arabia the SFDA, in Nigeria NAFDAC, in Kenya the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. We do not assert that a specific brand is registered in a given country; we check the destination register with you and support the dossier or import paperwork. Shelf life on the UK SmPC is 2 years for blister packs and 3 years for bottles. Batch certificates and traceable sourcing documents accompany each shipment, and because neither the US label nor the UK SmPC requires a special storage temperature, no cold chain is needed. M Care itself holds none of the manufacturer or WHO prequalification credentials, and we say so.

Upadacitinib supply, the specific questions.
Rinvoq tablet uses: what is it licensed to treat?
On the US label, Rinvoq is indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, refractory moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in patients 12 years and older, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis and giant cell arteritis, with differing prior-therapy requirements. The UK SmPC lists rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, giant cell arteritis, atopic dermatitis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Indications differ by regulator, so supply must follow the destination country's approved labelling.
What is the Rinvoq dose, and what is the 30 mg tablet used for?
Dose depends on the indication. The UK SmPC gives 15 mg once daily for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis. For atopic dermatitis, the US label starts adults under 65 and adolescents of at least 40 kg on 15 mg and allows an increase to 30 mg once daily if response is inadequate. For ulcerative colitis, the US label sets 45 mg once daily for 8 weeks, then 15 mg maintenance, with 30 mg considered in refractory, severe or extensive disease. Crohn's disease induction is 45 mg for 12 weeks. Prescribing and dosing remain with the treating specialist.
What sets the Rinvoq 30 mg price or cost for an importer?
We do not publish a figure, because the landed cost of Rinvoq depends on several things that change by order. These are originator brand versus any other supply route, strength and pack size (30 or 28 tablets per bottle on the US label, blister packs on the UK one), quantity, the destination's registration route and any import permit, logistics, and the Incoterms agreed. M Care Exports quotes per destination, so send the country, strengths, volume and whether you hold the registration, and we reply with a written quotation.
Rinvoq for vitiligo: is it licensed, and can you quote it?
It depends on the regulator. The EMA EPAR page lists non-segmental vitiligo in adults and adolescents 12 years and older among the EU-authorised uses. Vitiligo does not appear in the US label or the UK SmPC we reviewed. Whether your own regulator has approved it is a destination question we cannot assume. Tell us the country, the strengths and whether you hold the registration or are importing against a named-patient request, and we quote on that basis. We do not give a price for vitiligo use here.
Is Rinvoq the eczema tablet, and who may take it?
Rinvoq is licensed for atopic dermatitis, the common form of eczema, but only in moderate to severe disease. The UK SmPC covers adults and adolescents 12 years and older who are candidates for systemic therapy. The US label covers refractory disease not adequately controlled with other systemic products, including biologics, or when those are inadvisable. It is not a first-line eczema product, and the SmPC requires initiation and supervision by an experienced physician. We supply it to hospital and specialist-clinic buyers, not as an over-the-counter item.
Who makes Rinvoq, and is there a generic upadacitinib?
AbbVie is the originator and the authorisation holder: AbbVie Inc. in the US, AbbVie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG in the EU and AbbVie Ltd in the UK. A DailyMed search by drug name returned only the AbbVie Rinvoq label, with no separate generic upadacitinib label. We found no regulator source confirming a generic or biosimilar in the EU or India, so we do not assume one. Quote requests are therefore for the originator brand.
