Furosemide (Lasix) is a loop diuretic for oedema in heart failure, liver and kidney disease, supplied as 20, 40 and 80 mg tablets and a 10 mg/mL injection for IV or IM use, and it needs no cold chain.
M Care Exports supplies furosemide, including Lasix-branded and Indian-made lines, to hospital pharmacies, importers and tender desks in the GCC, Africa and the UK. If you are looking for furosemide 40 mg tablets or the 10 mg/mL injection, send the destination, the strength, the pack and the quantity, and we quote per destination.
Furosemide exporter and bulk supplier from India.
"We need a partner for furosemide" is a typical hospital pharmacy or ministry tender enquiry, because the molecule is bought as tablets and ampoules on the same list. M Care is a merchant-exporter: we supply originator or regulator-registered brands and Indian-made lines, and we confirm which one your destination's registration route accepts before quoting. In the US, Lasix tablets in 20, 40 and 80 mg are labelled by Validus Pharmaceuticals, and the Lasix name also appears on Lasix ONYU, a separate 80 mg/2.67 mL subcutaneous injection with its own infusor device. Our catalogue lists an Indian-made Lasix 10 mg/mL injection and Lasipen 40 mg tablets, which we supply for destinations whose registration accepts them. The UK emc carries generic furosemide tablets and injection, for example Tillomed tablets and Baxter ampoules. The US labels give 20 to 25 °C storage and the UK tablet SmPC says do not store above 25 °C, so freight is simple. Related cardiovascular lines that buyers list beside it are torsemide, spironolactone and eplerenone.

Loop diuretic, sourced and documented for export.
Furosemide is a loop diuretic. The US Lasix tablet label (Validus Pharmaceuticals, DailyMed) covers 20, 40 and 80 mg tablets and indicates them for oedema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver and renal disease including the nephrotic syndrome, and, orally, for hypertension alone or with other antihypertensives. It contraindicates use in anuria and in hypersensitivity to furosemide. The UK SmPC for furosemide 20 mg tablets (Tillomed, emc) lists the same oedema indications, peripheral oedema due to mild to moderate hypertension, and management of oliguria due to acute or chronic renal insufficiency. Injectable furosemide is a 10 mg/mL solution. The US Hospira label lists 20 mg/2 mL, 40 mg/4 mL and 100 mg/10 mL single-dose vials for oedema and as adjunctive therapy in acute pulmonary oedema, given intramuscularly or intravenously. The UK Baxter SmPC covers 2 mL and 5 mL ampoules for IV or IM use in fluid retention and mild to moderate hypertension. Furoscix (scPharmaceuticals, a MannKind subsidiary) is a separate US subcutaneous product supplied as a prefilled autoinjector or a cartridge with an on-body infusor, and Lasix ONYU is a separate US 80 mg/2.67 mL subcutaneous product with an infusor, labelled for oedema in adults with chronic heart failure.

Hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks across our export markets.
India is our origin. We do not sell into the Indian market.
Buyers are hospital pharmacists, MoH and hospital tender desks, and licensed importers and distributors in the GCC, Africa and the UK. Typical enquiries read "I'm looking for furosemide 40 mg tablets in the UAE" or "We need a partner for furosemide 10 mg/mL ampoules for a tender". Each destination has its own route to registration or import, for example the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) in the UAE, NAFDAC in Nigeria and the MHRA in the UK, and we align the offer with it before quoting. M Care supplies both originator or regulator-registered brands and Indian-made lines, and does not state that any Indian-made line is registered in a given destination unless that destination's regulator confirms it.
GCC registration routes
Supply against MoH registration held by your local licensed importer, or via the GCC central registration pathway.
UK unlicensed routes
Where no UK licence exists, the MHRA Specials and named-patient import routes cover clinically justified demand.
Tender desks
Bid-pack documentation assembled to the tender's specification, from CoPP to batch records.
Dossier support
CTD documentation from the sourcing manufacturer, compiled for your regulator's format.
What the dispensing pharmacist checks on furosemide.
Write the tender line by route, because tablets and injection behave differently. The US injection label gives an initial 20 to 40 mg IM or IV dose, injected slowly over 1 to 2 minutes, with a second dose after 2 hours if needed. For acute pulmonary oedema it gives 40 mg slowly IV, then 80 mg if needed. The US label limits high-dose IV infusion in adults to 4 mg per minute, and the UK injection SmPC says IV furosemide must always be given slowly at no more than 4 mg per minute. The US label links ototoxicity to rapid injection, severe renal impairment, hypoproteinaemia and aminoglycosides. The UK SmPC recommends no more than 2.5 mg per minute when serum creatinine is above 5 mg/dl. The UK injection SmPC says the solution may be mixed with neutral or weak alkaline solutions of pH 7 to 10, such as 0.9% sodium chloride or Ringer's lactate, and that ampoules stay in the outer carton to protect from light. The US Lasix tablet label stores at 20 to 25 °C and warns that excessive amounts can cause profound diuresis with water and electrolyte depletion.
The documentation pack a regulator actually asks for.
Furosemide is an ambient-temperature product on the labels we read, so no cold chain applies. The US Lasix tablet label gives 20 to 25 °C with excursions to 15 to 30 °C. The Hospira US injection label gives the same range and says to protect from light. The UK Tillomed tablet SmPC says do not store above 25 °C, and the UK Baxter injection SmPC says keep the ampoules in the outer carton to protect from light. Non-branded furosemide is regulator-listed in both the US and the UK: DailyMed carries non-branded US furosemide injection labels such as Hospira's, and the emc carries UK generic tablets and injection from Tillomed and Baxter. The emc showed no product named Lasix when we searched. M Care documentation covers batch certificates of analysis, export documents and destination-aligned dossier support where the regulator requires it. We state the source and quality status of each line before quoting, and make no manufacturing or WHO claim for M Care itself.

Furosemide supply, the specific questions.
What sets the price of furosemide 40 mg tablets for an importer?
We do not publish prices. The landed cost depends on whether you want the Lasix originator, a regulator-registered generic or an Indian-made line such as Lasipen 40 mg, the pack size, the quantity, the registration route in your destination and Incoterms. Furosemide tablets are stored at room temperature on the labels we read, so freight is simpler than for refrigerated products. M Care Exports quotes per destination once we have the strength, pack and quantity.
What are the furosemide indications and tablet uses?
The US Lasix label indicates the tablets for oedema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver and renal disease including the nephrotic syndrome, and for hypertension alone or with other antihypertensives. The UK SmPC for furosemide tablets lists the same oedema indications, peripheral oedema due to mild to moderate hypertension, and oliguria due to acute or chronic renal insufficiency. Indications vary by destination labelling, so confirm the local text.
What is the furosemide dose for adults?
Doses are set by the prescriber and the destination label. The US Lasix label gives an initial oral dose for oedema of 20 to 80 mg as a single dose, titrated up to 600 mg a day in severe oedematous states, and an initial hypertension dose of 80 mg, usually divided into 40 mg twice a day. The UK tablet SmPC gives an initial 40 mg each morning for oedema in adults. Check the approved leaflet for the market you supply.
Do you supply furosemide injection, and what are Lasix 20 mg and 40 mg injection?
Yes. Furosemide injection is a 10 mg/mL solution, so a 20 mg dose is 2 mL and a 40 mg dose is 4 mL. The US Hospira label lists 20 mg/2 mL, 40 mg/4 mL and 100 mg/10 mL vials, and the UK Baxter SmPC lists 2 mL and 5 mL ampoules, for IV or IM use. Our catalogue also lists an Indian-made Lasix 10 mg/mL injection. We do not state it is registered anywhere. Send the strength, pack and destination and we confirm what we can quote.
What are the other names for Lasix?
The generic name is furosemide. In the US, the Lasix tablet label on DailyMed names Validus Pharmaceuticals. Furoscix is a separate US subcutaneous product, and Lasix ONYU is another separate US subcutaneous product with its own infusor. The emc showed no UK product named Lasix when we searched. The Indian-made line Lasipen 40 mg is in our catalogue as a tablet.
Can you supply furosemide to the UAE?
Yes, M Care Exports supplies furosemide tablets and injection to the GCC, as originator or regulator-registered brands or as Indian-made lines. UAE product registration sits with the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), so we confirm which brand, strength and form your registration or import route accepts before we quote. Send the strength, the form and the quantity.
