Eylea (aflibercept) is an intravitreal anti-VEGF fusion protein for retinal disease, sold as the 2 mg Eylea and the 8 mg Eylea HD, and bought as the originator or as a biosimilar depending on what the destination registers.
M Care Exports supplies Eylea (aflibercept), marketed by Regeneron in the US and authorised in the EU to Bayer AG, together with Eylea HD (8 mg) and confirmed aflibercept biosimilars, to hospital pharmacies, importers and tender desks in the GCC, Africa and the UK. If you are looking for Eylea or Eylea HD, send the destination, the dose, the presentation and the quantity, and we quote per destination.
Biosimilar brands: Eydenzelt, Afqlir, Opuviz, Pavblu, Ahzantive, Yesafili, Afiveg, Vgenfli, Enzeevu, Mynzepli, Baiama and Eyluxvi.
Aflibercept exporter and bulk supplier from India.
"We need a partner for Eylea" is a typical retina-unit or tender enquiry. M Care is a merchant-exporter: we quote the originator and aflibercept biosimilars against your specification, and only offer a product your destination registers. Aflibercept is a refrigerated biological, so the quote turns on dose (2 mg or 8 mg), vial or pre-filled syringe, quantity, the registration route and the cold-chain lane. Do not confuse it with Zaltrap, a separate Sanofi aflibercept product for metastatic colorectal cancer (labelled ziv-aflibercept in the US). The EMA page describes Zaltrap as an intravenous infusion of 4 mg per kg followed by FOLFIRI, so it is a different product from intravitreal Eylea. For the other anti-VEGF most retina units compare, see our ranibizumab (Lucentis) page.

Anti-VEGF recombinant fusion protein, sourced and documented for export.
Aflibercept is a recombinant fusion protein of portions of human VEGF receptors 1 and 2 fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1, produced in CHO cells, and given by intravitreal injection. The US Eylea label lists neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration, macular oedema following retinal vein occlusion, diabetic macular oedema, diabetic retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity. The EU Eylea 40 mg/mL listing covers wet AMD, RVO, DME, myopic choroidal neovascularisation and retinopathy of prematurity in preterm infants. The 2 mg dose is 0.05 mL of 40 mg/mL, supplied as a single-dose vial or pre-filled syringe. The 8 mg dose is 0.07 mL of 114.3 mg/mL: sold in the US as Eylea HD in a single-dose vial, and in the EU under the name Eylea 114.3 mg/mL as a vial or pre-filled syringe, for wet AMD, DME and RVO (the US label also lists diabetic retinopathy).

Hospital pharmacies, licensed importers and tender desks across our export markets.
India is our origin. We do not sell into the Indian market.
Buyers are hospital pharmacists and ophthalmology formulary leads, MoH and hospital tender desks, and licensed importers and distributors in the GCC, Africa and the UK. Typical enquiries read "I'm looking for Eylea 2 mg vials for a retina clinic" or "We need a partner for Eylea HD for a tender". Each destination has its own registration route, for example the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) in the UAE, NAFDAC in Nigeria and the MHRA in the UK, and we align the offer with it before quoting. Retina services buy by dose and presentation, so a 2 mg vial, a 2 mg pre-filled syringe and an 8 mg vial are separate lines with separate quantities.
GCC registration routes
Supply against MoH registration held by your local licensed importer, or via the GCC central registration pathway.
UK unlicensed routes
Where no UK licence exists, the MHRA Specials and named-patient import routes cover clinically justified demand.
Tender desks
Bid-pack documentation assembled to the tender's specification, from CoPP to batch records.
Dossier support
CTD documentation from the sourcing manufacturer, compiled for your regulator's format.
What the dispensing pharmacist checks on aflibercept.
Eylea and Eylea HD are not two strengths of one vial. The 2 mg dose is 0.05 mL of 40 mg/mL; the 8 mg dose is 0.07 mL of 114.3 mg/mL, and the EU SmPC states that the 8 mg dose requires the 114.3 mg/mL product. Both are single-dose, for one eye. Storage is 2 to 8 °C, do not freeze, keep in the carton to protect from light. The EU SmPCs allow the unopened vial or blister below 25 °C for up to 24 hours before use; the US labels we read state no such allowance, so build the lane to the stricter standard. The US label warns of endophthalmitis, retinal detachment and retinal vasculitis, intraocular pressure rises within 60 minutes of injection, and a potential risk of arterial thromboembolic events. Retinopathy of prematurity needs the 0.4 mg (0.01 mL) dose, and the US label says the pre-filled syringe must not be used for it. The EU SmPC asks that product name and batch number be recorded.
The documentation pack a regulator actually asks for.
Aflibercept is a cold-chain biological: 2 to 8 °C, do not freeze, protect from light. The EU SmPC gives a shelf life of 2 years for Eylea 40 mg/mL and 3 years for Eylea 114.3 mg/mL, so a bulk order needs a validated 2 to 8 °C lane, in-transit logging and a remaining-shelf-life check on arrival. The EMA lists Bayer AG as the EU marketing authorisation holder, and the US labels name Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as the company to contact for Eylea and Eylea HD. The EU authorisation dates from November 2012. M Care documentation covers batch certificates of analysis, export documents and destination-aligned dossier support where the regulator requires it. We state each manufacturer's quality status per line before quoting, and make no claim for M Care itself beyond merchant-exporter documentation.

Aflibercept supply, the specific questions.
What decides the landed price of Eylea for an importer?
We do not publish prices. The landed cost of aflibercept depends on whether you choose the Eylea originator or a biosimilar, the dose (2 mg or 8 mg), vial or pre-filled syringe, the quantity, the registration route in your destination, the cold-chain lane and Incoterms. Refrigerated freight is a real cost line for a 2 to 8 °C biological. M Care Exports quotes per destination once you send the dose, presentation, volume and country.
What is the difference between Eylea and Eylea HD?
On label facts: Eylea is 2 mg in 0.05 mL (40 mg/mL), and Eylea HD is 8 mg in 0.07 mL (114.3 mg/mL). For wet AMD and DME, the US Eylea HD label gives three monthly doses, then 8 mg every 8 to 16 weeks, with 20-week intervals considered after one year of successful response. The US Eylea label gives 2 mg every 4 weeks for the first three months, then every 8 weeks, for wet AMD. Eylea HD is a single-dose vial in the US label. The EU lists the 8 mg dose as Eylea 114.3 mg/mL in a vial or pre-filled syringe, and for wet AMD and DME its intervals can be extended up to every 4 months, then up to 6 months.
How does Eylea HD compare with Vabysmo?
Only on label facts. Eylea HD (aflibercept 8 mg) is a VEGF inhibitor, supplied in the US label as a single-dose vial of 114.3 mg/mL. Vabysmo (faricimab-svoa) is a VEGF and angiopoietin-2 inhibitor, 6 mg in 0.05 mL of 120 mg/mL, supplied as a single-dose prefilled syringe or vial in the US label we read, and Genentech is the contact named on it. Both US labels list wet AMD, DME and RVO, and Eylea HD also lists diabetic retinopathy. Their dosing schedules differ, so the choice belongs to the treating ophthalmologist.
What is Eylea 8 mg, and do you supply it?
Eylea 8 mg is the high-dose aflibercept presentation: 8 mg in 0.07 mL of 114.3 mg/mL, sold in the US as Eylea HD and in the EU as Eylea 114.3 mg/mL. The US label lists a vial, with or without an injection kit. The EU SmPC lists a vial with a filter needle and a pre-filled syringe. Yes, we quote it. Send the destination and quantity, and we confirm what that market registers before offering it.
Is there a generic or biosimilar of Eylea?
Aflibercept is a biological, so the copies are biosimilars rather than generics. The FDA biosimilar list names Eydenzelt, Pavblu, Enzeevu, Ahzantive, Yesafili and Opuviz as aflibercept biosimilars with Eylea as reference product. The EMA lists biosimilars including Yesafili, Afqlir, Opuviz, Ahzantive, Baiama, Eydenzelt, Pavblu, Mynzepli, Afiveg, Vgenfli and Eyluxvi, each with Eylea as reference medicine. We quote the originator or a biosimilar according to your destination's registration.
What is Eylea used for, and what are its side effects and label?
The FDA label for Eylea lists wet AMD, macular oedema following RVO, diabetic macular oedema, diabetic retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity. Contraindications are ocular or periocular infection, active intraocular inflammation and hypersensitivity. Warnings include endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, retinal vasculitis, rising intraocular pressure and arterial thromboembolic events. The full label is on DailyMed, and the EU SmPC is on the EMA page, both linked below. Treatment is by a physician experienced in intravitreal injections.
